Feast in the Field Fundraiser
Supported by MSU's Division of Residential and Hospitality Services (RHS), the Annual Feast in the Field Fundraiser is held on the MSU Student Organic Farm grounds each fall. More than 200 guests come together to enjoy a local and sustainable harvest dinner, and raised funds to create scholarships for the training and education of a next generation of Michigan's organic farmers.
Guests are presented with Michigan wines/beers and a mulitple-course meal prepared by MSU's award-winning Spartan chefs and showcase products from Michigan farms.
This annual event is part of a growing partnership between RHS and the MSU Student Organic Farm. "It's exciting to be able to build on our collaborations with the farm," said Vennie Gore, assistant vice president for the Division of Residential and Hospitality Services. "By helping fund scholarships for MSU's student farmers, we're investing in their futures and our own as we continue to serve campus-grown, certified-organic produce – grown by students, for students."
