Eat Our Produce
The SOF focuses on growing high quality produce year-round for local markets. We have a year-round CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program that serves over 100 members, a 7-month on campus farm stand, and several wholesale outlets including MSU campus dining services. In order to provide an upward pressure on the value of local food in our community, we price our CSA shares and other products higher than other local growers. Our customers' food dollars provide them with healthy, local, certified organic food while supporting the training of future organic farmers and providing transformative sustainable food and agricultural experiences for the broader MSU undergraduate community. We also make an effort to ensure that our wholesale accounts have attempted to source specific items from other local producers before we sell to them.
